Global Health Diplomacy & International Relations
Background
This project explores how global health challenges (such as pandemics, epidemics, and health inequities) influence international relations and diplomacy. It focuses on how countries collaborate to address global health issues through institutions like the World Health Organization (WHO) and the influence of health crises on foreign policy.
Learning Outcome (LO)
- LO #1: Understand & analyse the role of global health in international diplomacy & impact of significant legislation, such as GDPR and CISA, on internet governance and digital privacy.
- LO #2: Evaluate the role of WHO and other global institutions with case studies of global health diplomacy (e.g., COVID-19 pandemic).
