Artificial Intelligence in Cancer Diagnosis

Background

Artificial Intelligence algorithms are being used in the medical field for efficient diagnosis and treatment of patients. A detailed analysis of the AI applications in screening, diagnosis and treatment of malignant disease like cancer will be done by reviewing available literature. Recent progress in the use of AI systems and its future role in preventing, diagnosing and treating life-threatening malignancies will be discussed.

  • LO #1: In-depth analysis of applications of AI and Machine Learning models in screening, diagnosis and treatment of the patients. 
  • LO #2: Current challenges, opportunities and options for developing targeted diagnostic approaches are discussed.
