How do free gifts in Products Influence Kids’ Choices?
Background
Free gifts, such as toys, stickers, or games, are often added to products like snacks and cereal boxes to make them more exciting. Kids often choose products not only for the item but also because of the free gifts that come with it. This project looks at how free gifts influence what kids buy, which types of free gifts they like best, and how companies can use this to create better products for kids.
Learning Outcome (LO)
- LO #1: Understand how free gifts influence kids’ decisions when buying products.
- LO #2: Use a questionnaire to ask kids if they choose products because of freebies.
- LO #3: Look at the answers and suggest fun and useful free gifts that companies can add to their products.
