Memory Lane: Techniques to Enhance Recall
Background
Effective memory recall is vital for learning and academic success. Mnemonic techniques are cognitive strategies designed to improve memory and recall. This project investigates various mnemonic methods, including the method of loci, acronyms, and chunking, to determine their effectiveness in enhancing memory recall and learning outcomes.
Learning Outcome (LO)
- LO #1: Understand the cognitive processes involved in memory recall and the role of mnemonic techniques.
- LO #2: Develop skills in designing and conducting memory recall experiments.
- LO #3: Analyze and interpret data to assess the efficacy of mnemonic techniques.
